2013 starts with a not quite blank sheet of paper. 2012 laid out what I should be doing, building on 2010 the year I started to feel my way back to the things that give me the greatest pleasure and sense of self. In 2012 I met, heard, read and showed with people who affected my thinking in lots of positive ways. My hope is that 2013 will bring the same and more! Yesterday a stack of books about participatory art arrived through the post... and so I start the PHD with 'Conversation Pieces: community + communication in modern art' by Grant Kester...
